Oh my..Saw this article today - "Nature's Best, Actress Cassandra See ate her placenta and claims it made her glow".. ...ahem..I am kind of shock for words.. While I have heard of people made pills out of animals' placenta like the goats', this is my first at hearing pregnant mothers eating their own placenta after they have given birth..Was further grossed out after reading See's description of how she handled her own..she was caught up with her duties and had left hers "untouched in her freezer for 2 months".."when she finally remembered about it, she baked it in her oven like roast beef until it was dry and crisp, but burnt a quarter of it in the process"!!!.."she pounded what was left behind and put it in capsules which she then swallowed every morning on an empty stomach" ***puke!!!*** The worst is yet to come..she was inspired by her Chinese co-star's room mate when she was filming in China 6 years ago. "Her college told her the girl's mother is a gynaecologist and that the secret to her skin was eating the placenta of her mother's patients since she was young.""She said her mother took the placentas home and made it into dumplings for the whole family"!!! Aren't I glad that my mom is not a gynae...hahhaa..I guess I will stay away from dumplings as long as I remember this..tsk tsk..eat your own?!..bite yourself!! By the way..as it desribes..the placenta resembles a slimy bloody liver when it is raw..Hmm..oh gross! Human placenta  Liver
