Day 1: 6th Apr, Friday woohoo!! they are here!! moses (mosey), veron (ron), hongkai (hk) and liling (ll) came over from christchurch this friday morning and bunked at my place. hohoho! (told you my room is able to fit all of you and you didnt believe me huh, mosey. hehe.) we wanted to go to rangitoto initially but it turned out that we didnt have enough time to make it back in time for the ferry so we went to mission bay and the Skytower instead. felt kind of cheated after i got up to the viewing deck of the skytower. singapore definitely has a prettier skyline as compared to auckland's. that's probably why we would spend money planning the city lights and all. an icecream treat to make up for rangitoto? hehe. mama mia! am i right, ron? hoho.  a walk along mission bay  the city of sails  presenting to you the skyline of auckland    dinner at the korean restaurant. *drools* (from left, clockwise: hk, me, ron, ll)  the night ended with an early easters gift exchange among some of my friends in my hostel. my first easter celebration! lala. we drew lots to pick the person whom we are going to prepare the gift for and tada! this is for kate! marshmallows with banana fillings and chocolate coating, eclairs and easter eggs~  kate and i (kate is an exchange student from UK and this is her second semester over here)  Lia (from Korea, going 23) has gotten for me a bracelet and a choco bar. she was very shocked when she realised that everyone else have gotten nothing but chocolates for the easters gift exchange. hehe. culture difference eh. actually, i wouldnt know if jenny hasnt told me about it. =P little disappointed that there is only 1 bar of choco but everything happens for a reason man. answer to be revealed in subsequent entries. haha.  all of us.
