this going to be a strange post i reckon.. while i am eager to express myself, i am lost for words. everything has come to light.. and i see a smile on dad's face. a reassuring smile that puts my mind at ease for a couple of reasons. i am no longer required to come up with a 'brilliant plan' to break the news anymore!.. and the best of all, the path ahead seems smoother. i am free from my past! perhaps, it was purely my personal barrier/perception all these while.. ...nonetheless, thank you! i love you, dad, momo and you too!! 2008 - the new year countdown 31 dec 07 has been a nice closure and a sweet start for 2008. for the first time, little things that seem far and illusory became tangible. introducing my friends to you, "legitimising" the relationship and letting you know more about the people i mix with, have been a wish.. as well as a guilt that i had for the past few months. somehow, it seems unfair to you to keep it under wraps.. but i am glad i did it (though it was kinda late =P). the seek for acceptance from my friends towards you have been a longtime yearning of mine.. and the day finally came yesterday. while the attendance was far from usual, the steamboat we had last night felt like an initiation ceremony.. at least for me.. haha. (now that i think of it, it should have been the other way round, shouldnt it? hahahaha. =PP) thank you for attending it with me! somehow, the fireworks display looks exceptionally pretty this year. hehe. .. and i love the miniature version that we had for ourselves at east coast park! .. while it was something that i thought would only appear in tv dramas, it was really sweet nonetheless. i love every bit of it. *hugs* dreamy and "sugary".. coated with toffee, caramel, syrup.. everything!
